Reality Check

Reality Check is our Social Justice Section arising from our 20for2020 Newsletter for the 2020 Election and Restore America Corps.  We believe a more just society is a more humane society and a more humane society is a wealthier society.  Read what we think is important and write or call us about what you think is important.

We see high industry concentration/monopolistic industry power, predictive modeling creating gross over-valuations for the stock market, and the endless pot of money in

healthcare, the merging of banking and securities and insurance and the allowance of intrinsically predatory personalized adverting practices of social media  as our country's five biggest challenges and we believe that restoring the balance of power to the worker/consumer/populace will lead to a more just and wealthier society.  What do you think?

Term limits are a no brainer and a must.  More ideas on how to manage government leaders will be forthcoming.  Usury is usury and must stop.  Albert Einstein said "Compounded interest is the greatest invention ever- real savings must return and a balance between savings and lending rates is a must.

We encourage you to check out our Restore America Corps page for our early work and our vision for engaging the populace in studying and solving today's issues one at a time.

Our Areas of Study:

We study and write leaders about the intersection of healthcare, big pharma and Wall Street.

The exorbitant money in healthcare magnified by the overvalued stock market has had dehumanizing results where there is focus on markets and blockbusters and not patients and care.

Bristol Myers Squibb (BMY) and its blockbuster Abilify are profiled in detail.

Looking at how their analysts report stocks- not on the fundamentals but only predictive modeling brought to my attention the inappropriate use of deterministic statistics on the stock market.  Predictive modeling is price fixing.

Here are some memos and letters written along the way the show that NASDAQ exchange allows non going concerns to be listed, crypto is unconstitutional and more.

Big pharma meets wall street:

We studied the TNC/Taxi Industry and conclude it should be private and local in structure and that there is not enough money nor capital need for a national yet international approach to local transportation.  We believe drivers should be paid a living wage.  The current business model whereby the drivers have to provide their own car, gas and insurance for a national or international publicly held company defies reason, puts an undue burden on the driver and society at large and destroyed important safeguards developed over time.  The reality is Uber is an App at best.  To consider it a technology is a farce of the same nature as considering Tesla a technology company.
