A Closer Look Proposal
A Closer Look: Constitutional, Dignified and Proper Care for Mental Health Situations and Patients
Mission/Goal: Working to make psychiatric and mental health care legal, safer, more grounded in truth and more dignified for all, one person and one patient at a time.
Scope/Subject Matter:
- Abilify – an unsafe drug with a dangerous withdrawal and poisoning that reactivates.
- Welfare Call- 72 hour hold- how police respond makes a difference. The role of the 911 Operator.
- Processes at the Hospital - U of MN Fairview Health- one woman’s journey. The role of trauma.
- The Civil Commitment Process- The loss of rights, detriment to proper care, the invasion of privacy and the ongoing harm that can arise.
- Redemption and Healing, Privacy and Truth- a path toward correction and restoration and better care for all.
Process/Methodology:
Working with the people and resources at my disposal and utilizing my expertise in primary and secondary research and utilizing what I have personally experienced, I will prepare succinct yet well researched reports on each of the areas. The areas interact and can feed off of each other in real life and it is therefore recommended that those that are truly committed to the mission read each section and not just the one most directly in their domain. The reports will contain action oriented recommendations and suggestions and will be somewhat in a case study format based on my personal experience which has led to untruthful information being promulgated about me in the public square, a situation which deserves to be rectified and not repeated.
Some of the resources include:
- Dedicated efforts at care by multiple mental health professions and neurologists, and other doctors

- The Governor’s Office
