How Might it be Funded?

The centers should be designed to be an asset to the University, to help it draw students to the University and to be a fundamental part of the educational process for all students in the university and help them to learn to work on cross discipline teams and become less myopic themselves (learn to learn in areas they were not formally taught or degreed).

Labor and technology costs will be not be substantial if student labor is used, and there may even be the benefit of new inventions and techniques that can be monetized.

Seed funding or annual fees to investment firms might be a win/win option as this “research” will be better and less expensive than they generate themselves, and the underlying presumption is we all benefit when companies are good and held accountable when they misbehave.

Consumer donations for services like writing letters, etc… might be another option.

Finding an initial champion or champions committed to the vision and willing to provide seed money is a realistic option.

The students should and will be motivated- as it is their future and their children’s and parents, future at stake.

In addition, discussions with many Americans of all ages has made it clear that we as a people know there is a lot wrong, want things to get back to the way we used to be as a nation, recognize that the world has changed, are willing to do are part, want to be involved, but do not know how.  This proposal presents a low risk, low cost option, with virtually no down side for those concerned about the greater good.  That is the way a legitimate search for Truth is and what it has to offer.

This is intended to be an action-oriented manifestation of the importance of research, standards, adherence to standards, law and order, and objective truth, learning, building and sharing a body of knowledge for the greater good and the good of the individual simultaneously.
